Between 1920-1950 it fell into disrepair but is forging back; with David Suire at the helm the critics (and ourselves) love it. Crushed raspberry and strawberry fill the nose, then it is limpid in the glass, juicy and vibrant. The texture is suave, the wine very focused with a bright fresh feel. It has a chalky structure but there's superb balance and a sensual core of fruit. A lovely long, sophisticated style, truly impressive. 5-15+ years.
