Tasted at the Château, the Clerc has a playful edge to it, with a fresh, pure nose of black fruit, plum, toasty oak and violet. Buoyant on the palate but with an underlying power, the finely balanced levels of concentrated red and black cherries, chalky tannins and fresh acidity deliver a very complete wine. Excellent!
