77% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the highest percentage of Cabernet Franc to date mark the first release from the new cellars here. This is a very confident showing, with great definition and super aromatic intensity, offering up a mix of rich raspberry, blue-black fruits, cherry and a host of dark flowers. Approaching full-bodied with a coolness throughout, great lift, and a fine mineral line from the limestone terroir; this is beautifully textured, utterly sophisticated, and should cellar nicely.
